I didn't really become familiar with the calming scent of Lavender until I was about 6 months postpartum with my first born. I was power walking to the subway in New York (pumped breast milk + new mom anxiety in hand) and I rushed by Union Square Market and the dried lavender tent. In the 90 seconds I had to spare I bought myself 5 tiny lavender sachets and kept them all over my apartment and in tote bags. They quickly became my go to - anxious about leaving Liam before work? Take a deep breath, smell the lavender.
Anxious about a presentation for my new boss?
Take a deep breath, smell the lavender.
You get the idea. Fast forward to today - Liam is 4 and I am technically not postpartum. Yet - navigating toddlerhood and entrepreneurship through Covid? That's a doozy...
